Nick Marsh, and Kyle Boe with the "Grandts Big Dog Fishing Team" WINS THE 2013 HIGH SCHOOL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP" See Comments Below - CONGRATS NICK and KYLE

Mr. Grandt,

Nick Marsh and Kyle Boe are the 2013 TBF High School Fishing National Champions. This event was held on Beaver Lake in northwest Arkansas on April 21st. Five regional champions from across the country participated. Kyle Boe and Nick Marsh weighed in 10 pounds and 14 ounces with a 14 ounce margin of victory over their second place competitor. "Our Grandt rods were absolutely crucial in clinching the title for both Nick and myself. The fish on Beaver Lake have been extremely pressured with a recent FLW Tour event, two club tournaments over 100 boats and also 25 of the best college teams fishing the two previous days as well as the same day as our tournament. I used a Little Dipper from Reaction Innovations on a 3/16 ounce Owner Jig head fishing with a Grandt 007 6'6 Medium spinning rod. We targeted 45 degree banks with eroded rock and points with wind crashing into them. Our fish were pre-spawn and were sitting in the 15-35 foot range. I was fishing as slow as my reel could turn and with my Grandt I was able to feel the fish slap at my bait and varied my retrieve to get the fish to commit. Our big fish, a largemouth fell to Nick Marshe's umbrella rig on a Grandt KLH 7'0 Reserved Power bait casting rod while fishing over brush piles." (Kyle Boe)
