Canyon Reels Slow Pitch SP15 with Spool Lock

The Slow Pitch SP15 comes with a Spool Lock feature, used to break off wrecks, rocks, or snags without having to reach for something to cut off your line and save valuable fishing time. To use this feature simply push the button down on the non-operator side and spool lock will engage, allowing you to retrieve the line back in without damaging the spool or the gears. Note: We recommend not fishing with the spool lock feature engaged as line will not come off your spool and cause unnecessary loss of rig or jig if you should get caught up in a snag.
